DuRite Epoxy Floors completed approximately 32,000 square feet of seamless epoxy flooring at a pharmaceutical facility for KriGen Pharmaceuticals in Lillington, North Carolina. The project included approximately 117 rooms and corridors, with numerous doorways, machinery, and equipment requiring detailed installation around and underneath. The flooring system was designed to provide a durable, seamless, and easy-to-maintain surface throughout the facility.

What We Did
Surface Preparation & Repairs — Mechanically prepared the concrete substrate and addressed cracks, joints, and surface imperfections to create a sound foundation for the flooring system.
Moisture Vapor Barrier Primer — Applied an MVB primer to the prepared concrete to help mitigate moisture vapor transmission and provide a suitable base for the coating system.
MPE Epoxy Base & Top Coats — Applied solid-color MPE epoxy base and top coats to create a seamless, durable, and uniform flooring surface.
4" Epoxy Cove Base — Installed approximately 6,000 RFT of 4" epoxy cove base throughout the rooms and corridors for a continuous floor-to-wall transition.
Polyaspartic Sealer — Applied a polyaspartic sealer as the final protective coat to enhance the durability of the finished flooring system.
Detailed Installation — Carefully installed the flooring system around and underneath existing machinery, equipment, doors, and other obstacles throughout the facility.
